PARD MT6-4 – quick-release IR illuminator and camera mount for 30 mm tube
The PARD MT6-4 quick-release mount attaches to a 30 mm tube (riflescope, night vision or thermal device) and holds a PARD IR illuminator with a body of approximately 23.5 mm, such as the PARD InfraX. QR lever - attach and remove in seconds without tools.
Note: the mount is not designed for illuminators with a 25.4 mm (1 inch) body, such as Noxar DIR or TenoSight - the ring screws will not reach.
Detailed description
PARD MT6-4 is an aluminium quick-release mount that connects your observation or aiming device with an IR illuminator. The larger clamp attaches to a 30 mm riflescope tube, while the smaller ring holds a PARD IR illuminator with a body diameter of approximately 23.5 mm. Thanks to the QR lever, you can attach the mount together with the illuminator in a few seconds and remove it just as quickly when you do not need it - no Allen key and no searching for tools in the dark.
The mount has a high profile with an offset of approximately 58 mm, so the illuminator or camera clears the turrets and objective lens and stays out of the field of view. The illuminator therefore shines exactly in the direction of observation.
The mount is designed for PARD illuminators; we have tested it with the PARD InfraX. Illuminators with a 25.4 mm (1 inch) body, such as Noxar DIR or TenoSight, cannot be tightened in the ring - for those we recommend the adapter ring with Weaver rail and the quick-release Weaver rail mount.
