Daylight optics
Daylight optics are riflescopes for normal light conditions – for morning and evening hunting, for the range and for zeroing your rifle. Unlike thermal imaging and night vision they work with a natural image, weigh less, need no power source and resolve finer detail in good light.
We stock the Noxar Magnar line, from wide-angle models with low magnification up to the PRO versions with twenty times zoom. Most sets also include picatinny 30 mm mounting rings, so the scope goes on the rifle without buying anything else.

How to choose a daylight riflescope
Three things decide: magnification range, objective diameter and tube diameter.
Magnification range follows the terrain. In thick cover and on a close-range high seat, low magnification with a wide field of view works best – 1-8x or 1.5-9x lets you find the target fast and keep track of the surroundings. For open fields and longer distances, 2.5-20x or 3-18x makes sense.
Objective diameter governs how much light the scope gathers. A larger objective (50 or 56 mm) extends usable time at dusk, but adds weight and calls for higher mounting rings.
Tube diameter has to match the mount. Our models use a 30 mm tube and most sets already include picatinny rings in the right size.
Daylight optics, or thermal?
It is not either – or. Daylight optics are the foundation: they handle most situations and need no battery. Thermal imaging and night vision complement them where the eye no longer reaches – in full darkness, in fog or when tracking wounded game. A common setup is a daylight riflescope on the rifle plus a thermal clip-on you attach when needed.
