The Ventus Optics Venus SFP 1–8×24 VH-MIL-BDC is a variable riflescope with a 24 mm objective lens and a magnification range of 1–8×. At the lowest magnification it gives a wide view of the surroundings, while higher magnification allows more detailed observation. Depending on the magnification set, the field of view ranges from 44.4 to 5.53 m at 100 m.
The VH-MIL-BDC reticle is placed in the second focal plane (SFP); its apparent size in the eyepiece does not change when you change magnification. The reticle is graduated in MIL, while the elevation and windage adjustments work in MOA.
One click equals ½ MOA. Elevation adjustment range is ±60 MOA and windage ±60 MOA.
The lenses are fully multi-coated, eye relief is 85 mm and the -3 to +2 dioptre adjustment lets you focus the reticle to your eyesight.
The riflescope has a 30 mm tube, a length of 270 mm and a weight of 551 g. It is nitrogen-filled, IP67 waterproof and shockproof to 1,000 G. For mounting, 30 mm rings are suitable, for example KONUS Steel Rings QR 30 mm.
