The PARD InfraX is a compact infrared illuminator that greatly extends the range of digital night vision in complete darkness. Its light source is a 5 W VCSEL/laser emitter producing a strong, even beam with a range of up to 350 metres. The focus ring switches from a wide flood to a tight long-range spot.
The illuminator comes in two wavelengths. 850 nm gives a brighter image at the same output, but the emitter glows faintly red and wary game may notice it. 940 nm is practically invisible to game and to the human eye, with a slightly darker image. For observing and hunting alert game we recommend 940 nm; for maximum range, 850 nm.
Intensity is set in three levels directly on the illuminator or via Bluetooth from a compatible PARD device - the illuminator switches on and off together with the device. The multi-coated all-glass lens ensures a clean beam without dark spots. The IP67-rated aluminium alloy body withstands rain and dust. Power comes from an 18650 battery with up to 6 hours of runtime depending on the level selected.
We recommend the quick-release PARD MT6-4 mount for 30 mm tubes - the illuminator is fitted and removed in seconds without tools.
