LRF - MATE

The LRF-MATE is an external laser rangefinder designed for InfiRay MATE series thermal clip-ons; it measures distances up to approximately 1200 m with an accuracy of around ±1 m.

What is the LRF-MATE

• It is a standalone laser rangefinder module that mounts onto MATE clip-ons (e.g. MAL25, MAH50 and similar) and communicates with them so that the measured distance is shown in the image.

• It extends the clip-on's functionality – the new MATE generations support LRF and ballistics, so the measured distance can feed into the zeroing calculation.

Basic parameters

• The declared measuring range is approximately up to 1,200 m on a suitable target, with measurement accuracy of around ±1 m.

• Power comes from an external rechargeable 18650-type battery, with battery life in the order of tens of hours in normal use as a rangefinder.

Use in hunting

• Combined with MATE clip-ons (especially versions with integrated LRF/ballistics such as the MAH50R), it enables more accurate distance estimation and better shot planning at practical distances of around 150–200 m.

• Its main benefit is fast measurement without the need for a separate rangefinder, with the distance displayed directly in the thermal viewfinder, speeding up the decision to shoot.
