RIX TITAN T6 LRF – 640x480 thermal monocular with rangefinder
The TITAN T6 is a device for those who observe at long distances and want to be sure they can correctly assess what they see.
1818-metre range
The combination of a 640x480 sensor and a 35 mm F0.9 lens pushes the detection range to almost two kilometres. The 12.5° x 9.4° field of view still remains wide enough to scan the terrain without constantly moving the device.
Rangefinder built into the body
The laser rangefinder measures up to 1200 metres with one-metre accuracy. Estimating distance in the dark is unreliable even for an experienced eye, so measurement directly in the device is the difference between a guess and a figure.
The difference from the T3
The T3 has a 384x288 sensor and a 25 mm lens; the T6 has 640x480 and 35 mm. In practice this means roughly 500 metres more detection range and considerably more detail under digital zoom. The weight is practically the same - 429 grams versus 427.
