RIX POCKET K2 – 256x192 thermal monocular
The RIX POCKET K2 is intended for anyone who wants thermal vision always at hand without carrying a large device. At 124 x 46 x 74 mm and 200 grams, you can take it on every outing without even noticing it.
What to expect from it
The 256x192 sensor with a 12 μm pixel size and sensitivity below 25 mK will reveal a warm body in undergrowth at up to 468 metres. The 9 mm F1.0 lens gives a wide 19.4° x 14.6° field of view, which you will appreciate more than high magnification when observing at shorter distances - you scan the terrain faster and barely need to move the device.
A whole outing on a single charge
The removable 18650 battery lasts 6 hours of continuous operation. A spare cell costs a few euros, fits in a pocket and takes ten seconds to swap. The device can also be powered or recharged via USB-C from a power bank.
Durability you can rely on
The IP67 rating means complete resistance to dust and short-term immersion. The operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to +50 °C, so a freezing January morning will not harm the device.
Recording and transfer
The built-in 8 GB memory holds hundreds of videos and photos in MP4 and JPG format. Via WiFi, the device connects to the RIX app on your phone, where you can view the live image and download recordings.

5-year warranty. Devices with a 384x288 sensor or higher carry an extended 5-year warranty after registration within 30 days of purchase. Models with a 256x192 sensor carry a 3-year warranty.
Removable batteries. All RIX devices use common 18650 or 21700 cells. No proprietary battery pack - simply swap in a spare cell and carry on.
