RIX STORM S3R – 384x288 thermal riflescope with rangefinder

The STORM S3R adds two things to the base model that change the way you work - a larger sensor and a rangefinder.

Rangefinder built into the lens

This is the strongest technical argument of the entire RIX brand. Most manufacturers bolt the rangefinder module onto the side of the body, creating an offset between the laser and optical axes. RIX places it directly into the lens, so the laser measures exactly where you are looking. The measuring range is 1200 metres with one-metre accuracy.

384x288 sensor and a 35 mm lens

The detection range rises from 1300 to 1800 metres and the image tolerates higher zoom. In night hunting, the difference between "something is there" and "I know what it is" lies precisely in sensor resolution.

Same body, same durability

The construction remains identical to the S2 - a 151 mm long body, IP67, a 1000 g / 6000 J recoil rating, a Picatinny mount. The weight with the rangefinder is 454 grams.

RIX Optics is an American brand based in Texas that has focused on a single goal since 2023 - packing as much performance per euro into a device as possible. Development takes place in Texas, manufacturing in Asia, and service for Europe is based in the Czech Republic.

5-year warranty. Devices with a 384x288 sensor or higher carry an extended 5-year warranty after registration within 30 days of purchase. Models with a 256x192 sensor carry a 3-year warranty.

Removable batteries. All RIX devices use common 18650 or 21700 cells. No proprietary battery pack - simply swap in a spare cell and carry on.
