The Hikmicro Stellar SQ35 thermal riflescope (HM-TR36-35XG/W-SQ35) has a sensor with a resolution of 640 × 512 pixels with a sensitivity of < 35 mK and a an OLED display with a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels and a high-quality lens with a focal length of 35 mm. These parameters ensure a clear image in harsh environmental conditions such as darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow, forest cover, etc. The traditional design with a 35 mm lens meets the needs of professional hunters who value tradition and seek technological perfection with an extreme detection range of up to 1,800 metres. All of this supports a perfect hit on the target when hunting or protecting property.
2× built-in 18650 batteries and 1× replaceable RCR123 battery provide up to 15 hours of operation. Automatic video recording with sound triggered by the shot
Compared with the competition, the Hikmicro Stellar riflescope stands out for its low weight of under 890 g, compact dimensions (470 x 78 x 76 mm) and its sensor (< 35 mK). The lower the NETD value, the better the sensor can register small temperature differences between objects with a perfect image! The body is made of magnalium (a strong aluminium alloy).IPX7 water resistance provides protection against rain, snow and a fall into water up to 1 metre deep for up to 30 minutes.
The SQ35 model is equipped with the latest image-processing methods:
Automatic sensitivity control (AGC: Auto Gain Control): AGC technology automatically adjusts the dynamic range of the image. Hikvision thermal cameras use a unique technology called adaptive AGC, which is far more advanced than the ordinary linear AGC used in thermal cameras from other manufacturers.
The high-resolution 640 × 512 pixel, 12 µm VOx sensor guarantees that the image stays sharp (no pixelation) even when zoomed in.
Left: conventional thermal imagers. Right: Hikmicro thermal imagers with AGC.
Digital Detail Enhancement (DDE) DDE technology uses advanced algorithms to render details more sharply even in low-contrast areas (warm/cold objects).
Left: conventional thermal imagers. Right: Hikmicro thermal imagers with DDE.
3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D DNR) 3D DNR technology very effectively removes grainy or blurred parts of the observed scene. The resulting image is much cleaner than that of devices using traditional two-dimensional noise reduction (2D DNR).
Left: conventional thermal imagers. Right: Hikmicro thermal imagers with 3D DNR
HIKMICRO is one of the few manufacturers that produce their own sensor with a resolution of 640 × 512 px 12µm, VOx type, which is why the latest thermal imagers offer an excellent price/performance ratio. The lower the NETD value (35 mK), the better the sensor can register small temperature differences between objects with a perfect image!
Built-in high-sensitivity 35 mK thermal detector provides a clear image even in demanding environmental conditions such as darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow, forest cover, etc.
* Detection depends, among other things, on weather conditions (snow, rain, fog, ambient temperature, etc.). Actual detection performance may be higher or lower
