FALCON MEDUSA M1v2-650L thermal riflescope

FALCON MEDUSA M1v2-650L is the second generation of the MEDUSA M1 thermal riflescope with a laser rangefinder. Its 640 × 512 px sensor with 12 μm pixel pitch offers thermal sensitivity of ≤ 15 mK, so it picks up even subtle temperature differences, for example on a dewy morning or after rain. The 50 mm objective lens gives a base magnification of 2.8x, a field of view of 8.8° × 7° and a detection range of over 2500 metres*.

The image is shown on a 1920 × 1080 px OLED display with dioptre adjustment from -5 D to +5 D. Digital zoom steps are 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 4x, 6x and 8x. You can choose from six image modes (White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, high contrast and low light), 10 reticle types in 5 colours and 10 zeroing profiles for quick switching between rifles or loads.

The built-in 1200 m laser rangefinder works together with the ballistic calculator, which converts the measured distance into a point-of-impact correction. A gyroscope monitors rifle cant. Photos and videos are stored in 32 GB of built-in memory, picture-in-picture (PIP) shows a magnified view around the aiming point, and via Wi-Fi the riflescope connects to the XVision Pro app for iOS and Android.

The IP67 housing withstands rain, snow and dust and, according to the manufacturer, recoil of up to 10,000 J. It runs on one 18650 battery with a battery life of over 5 hours; two are included. The device can also be powered externally via USB-C, for example from a power bank. Operating temperature is -20 °C to +50 °C, weight 650 g without mount and battery.

Mount:

The package includes the original steel FALCON quick-release mount with a Picatinny/Weaver base (100 mm clamp spacing). According to the manufacturer, the device can be removed and reattached without re-zeroing.
