Detailed product description
Hikmicro LYNX Pro LH15 thermal camera
The HIKMICRO LYNX Pro LH15 thermal camera (HM-TS03-15XG / W-LH15) features a high-quality sensor with a resolution of 384 × 288 px 12 micrometres (12-micron technology) and a new 1280x960 px LCOS display, a 15 mm lens and 8x digital zoom.
The thermal camera supports hot spot tracking (following the hottest point in the image), a stadiametric rangefinder and Wi-Fi. The LH15 is a mid-range Hikmicro model and offers a detection range of up to 1239 and the battery life is a respectable 8 hours of continuous operation .
The LH15 features the latest image processing methods:
Automatic sensitivity control (AGC: Auto Gain Control) : AGC technology automatically adjusts the dynamic range of the image. Hikvision thermal cameras use a unique so-called Adaptive AGC technology, which is far more advanced than the ordinary so-called Linear AGC used in thermal cameras from other manufacturers.
Left: conventional thermal imaging. Right: Hikmicro thermal imaging with AGC.
Digital Detail Enhancement (DDE) DDE technology uses advanced algorithms to render details more sharply even when they are located in low-contrast areas (warm / cold objects).
Left: conventional thermal imaging. Right: Hikmicro thermal imaging with DDE.
3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D DNR) 3D DNR technology very effectively removes grainy or blurred parts of the observed scene. The resulting image is therefore much cleaner than with devices using traditional two-dimensional noise reduction (2D DNR).
Left: conventional thermal imaging. Right: Hikmicro thermal imaging with 3D DNR
HIKMICRO is one of the few manufacturers with its own production of 384x288 VOx sensors, which is why its latest thermal imagers offer an excellent price/performance ratio. The lower the NETD value (35mK), the better the sensor can capture small temperature differences between objects with a perfect image!
Built-in high-sensitivity 35mK thermal detector provides a clear image even in harsh environmental conditions such as darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow, forest vegetation, etc.
