RIX STRIDE ST6 Lite – 640x512 thermal monocular, 205 g

The ST6 Lite is the pinnacle of the STRIDE range. It offers something unusual for such a light device - a 640x512 sensor and a 25 mm lens, a combination you would otherwise find in considerably heavier bodies.

What the larger sensor brings

The detection range rises from 780 to 1300 metres and the image stays legible even when using digital zoom. At a 640x512 resolution, zooming in will not turn the image into a mosaic, as tends to happen with smaller sensors.

Still 1x and still light

The magnification remains a true 1x, so everything said about the ST3 Lite applies - natural perception of space, usability while walking, helmet attachment via the BM-01 mount. The weight has risen only to 205 grams.

Sensitivity below 20 mK

The low NETD value shows itself precisely when things get hardest - in drizzle, fog and low thermal contrast. In such conditions the device does not lose the contours of the terrain.

About the RIX brand

RIX Optics is an American brand based in Texas that has focused on a single goal since 2023 - packing as much performance per euro into a device as possible. Development takes place in Texas, manufacturing in Asia, and service for Europe is based in the Czech Republic.
