RIX STRIDE ST3 Lite – 384x288 thermal monocular, 190 g

The STRIDE ST3 Lite is a different type of device from the POCKET. It is not built to magnify things, but to let you orient yourself and move in the dark.

Why 1x magnification is an advantage, not a shortcoming

Most thermal monoculars magnify the image, which distorts the perception of distance and speed of movement. The ST3 Lite works with a true 1x magnification - the image on the display matches what your other eye sees. It can therefore be used even while walking, for finding your way or for scanning your surroundings with a single turn of the head. If you need detail, the digital zoom goes up to 6x.

Hands free

Weighing 190 grams, it can be attached to a helmet using the BM-01 mount. The device is always ready and both hands stay free.

A display that makes the difference

Unlike the POCKET range, the STRIDE Lite has a 1024x768 display. The image is finer and less tiring on the eye during longer observation.

About the RIX brand

RIX Optics is an American brand based in Texas that has focused on a single goal since 2023 - packing as much performance per euro into a device as possible. Development takes place in Texas, manufacturing in Asia, and service for Europe is based in the Czech Republic.

5-year warranty. Devices with a 384x288 sensor or higher carry an extended 5-year warranty after registration within 30 days of purchase. Models with a 256x192 sensor carry a 3-year warranty.

Removable batteries. All RIX devices use common 18650 or 21700 cells. No proprietary battery pack - simply swap in a spare cell and carry on.
