RIX STORM S6R – 640x512 thermal riflescope with rangefinder

The S6R is the answer to the question of what can be squeezed into 454 grams. A 640x512 sensor with NETD below 20 mK is hardware you would otherwise find in devices two hundred grams heavier and noticeably more expensive.

NETD below 20 mK - where you will really see it

The low NETD value will not show itself on a clear frosty night, when contrast is high and every device renders a good image. It shows itself in drizzle, in fog and in high humidity, when temperature differences blur. That is exactly the situation in which most cheaper devices give up.

A wide field of view instead of high magnification

The S6R has a base magnification of 2x and a 12.5° x 9.4° field of view, i.e. almost 22 metres per hundred metres. That is nearly double compared with the S3R. You scan the terrain faster and keep moving game in the image more easily. If you need detail, the 4x digital zoom at a 640 resolution will not break the image into blocks.

Rangefinder in the lens and bullet trajectory estimation

Measurement up to 1200 metres with one-metre accuracy, complemented by automatic bullet trajectory estimation. Data is entered via the RIX app.
