RIX POCKET K3 – 384x288 thermal monocular
The POCKET K3 solves the single compromise of the smaller K2 - range. With virtually unchanged dimensions and a weight of 213 grams, you get a 384x288 sensor and a 15 mm lens, extending the detection range to 780 metres.
When it pays to step up to the K3
If you observe over open ground, on fields or in clearings where distances over 300 metres are common, the K2 will stop being enough. The K3 maintains a usable image considerably further, and the higher sensor resolution means you will not just see a shape - you will recognise it.
