The Leopard 640 LRF 50 mm is equipped with a highly sensitive thermal sensor with a resolution of 640 × 512 px and a 12 µm pixel size , which guarantees an extremely sharp, detailed image. Thanks to NETD ≤ 20 mK (0.020 °C) it can detect even the smallest temperature differences, which is crucial, for example, when tracking game or searching in demanding terrain.

The lens with a 50 mm focal length provides excellent detail resolution over long distances and enables detection of objects at up to 2600 metres . This is further aided by the integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) with a range of up to 1000 metres , which provides accurate measurement of the distance to the target, significantly increasing efficiency and safety of use.

A major strength of the device is its AMOLED display with a high resolution of 1920 × 1080 px , which offers a clear image even in bright sunlight or complete darkness. The 2x/4x/8x digital zoom allows detailed close-up viewing of observed objects without loss of quality.

The Leopard 640 LRF 50 mm supports Wi-Fi connectivity and allows recording of photos and videos directly to the internal memory or to external devices via the app PardVision2 . Thanks to the mechanical shutter and a automatic image smoothing the image is always smooth and stable.
