HIKMICRO HIKCam A7E is a gun-mounted action camera designed to record shooting at resolutions of up to 4K. The light, compact construction (138.6 g, length 103.5 mm) does not weigh the weapon down or restrict handling in any way. Thanks to automatic recording triggered by recoil and smooth digital zoom of 2× to 8× it is suited to shooting at clay and paper targets, hunting small game and driven hunts.

Image quality

The camera records in MP4 format (codec H.265 / H.264) at resolutions of 4K at 60 fps, 2.7K at 120 fps, 1080p at 120 fps as well as 720p at 120 fps, with digital zoom of 2× to 8×. It thus captures every detail of the shot – for shooters and hunters who want to perfect their technique.

Slow-motion playback and shot analysis

Adjustable slow-motion at 0.2×, 0.3×, 0.6× and 1× lets you break down every shot in detail – whether on the target range or in the field.

Smart recording start

Recording starts automatically on recoil (max. recoil 375 g / 1.7 ms), so you never miss a thing. The camera wakes by lifting or tapping and offers smart pre-recording optimised for the individual modes: clay targets 2 s + 1 s, small game 6 s + 6 s, big game 15 s + 20 s, paper targets 2 s + 1 s, and a custom mode.

The HIKMICRO Sight app

Via the Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth app you watch footage in real time, play back videos and analyse your technique on the spot (Wi-Fi download speed up to 6 MB/s). The HIKMICRO Sight app (iOS and Android) enables firmware updates, reticle selection, quick zeroing with Quick Zero, viewing and saving footage, and remote control.

Rugged construction and power

At a weight of 138.6 g and dimensions of 103.5 × 30 mm (without mount), the camera is easy to carry and operate. The IP67 rating ensures reliable performance outdoors in the range of -20 °C to +40 °C. The built-in rechargeable battery (18650, 3.635 V, 3400 mAh) lasts approximately 400 clay-target shots or 200 hunting shots, i.e. up to 15 hours of operation. It charges via USB Type-C.
