RIX LEAP L3 v2 – 384x288 thermal riflescope, continuous zoom 3,2-9,6x

LEAP is the range with which RIX set itself apart from the rest of the market. Instead of stepped digital zoom, where the image loses detail with every step, the magnification changes smoothly by turning a ring.

Why smooth magnification change is practical

With digital zoom you choose between two evils - low magnification and little detail, or high magnification and a broken-up image. The smooth transition from 3.2x to 9.6x lets you stop exactly where you still have an overview of the surroundings and can already recognise what you are looking at. If needed, digital zoom adds a further 4x.

F0.9 lens and NETD below 20 mK

The faster aperture captures roughly a fifth more radiation than a standard F1.0. Combined with sensitivity below 20 mK, this means a legible image even in conditions where other devices draw nothing but noise.

Full HD display

A resolution of 1920x1080 with a 50 mm eye relief. The longer eye relief matters with heavier calibres - you can shoot comfortably and without worry.

About the RIX brand

RIX Optics is an American brand based in Texas that has focused on a single goal since 2023 - packing as much performance per euro into a device as possible. Development takes place in Texas, manufacturing in Asia, and service for Europe is based in the Czech Republic.

5-year warranty. Devices with a 384x288 sensor or higher carry an extended 5-year warranty after registration within 30 days of purchase. Models with a 256x192 sensor carry a 3-year warranty.

Removable batteries. All RIX devices use common 18650 or 21700 cells. No proprietary battery pack - simply swap in a spare cell and carry on.
